Sorry it's kinda late, but I just wanted to post some ranty stuff here about the year!
I think I had a pretty good year. I mean of course there were ups and downs, but for some reason I feel like I've actually accomplished stuff in 2012, and learnt a lot as well. Looking back at my gallery for the stuff I've drawn last year, there are a few I really like (that Yian Garuga pic being one! for some reason I really like how it turned out even now). I'm hoping I get to sit down and make more complete drawings like that this year (or at least, motivate myself to do more speedpaints). I dunno if I'll be participating in OCTs though, since I never seem to be able to stick through with any of them and I don't really have any bright ideas for characters either. I'm still paying attention to TDC though, everything's getting really epic!
And uhh, I also played a lot of games this year. If you followed my tumblr you can kinda tell that I played through a good chunk of Final Fantasy games during the year...I can't help it, these RPGs are so addicting haha. That also caused me to draw way more humans than usual, which seems like a good practice? And also because for some reason I couldn't really sit down and watch anime properly for the past year (my mind just keeps wandering off), so a lot of the time I would've spent watching anime was spent on games instead. I don't really regret it though.. |P
My third and final year at this school will be starting this year (the school year actually starts in April, so my third year will be ending next year). And since it's the final year, I'll likely be busier and all, yeah..but also, I'll have to go for internship for half the year. I've never had a job before (attempted to get one multiple times but ultimately failed due to...lack of motivation), so I guess it'll be good experience.
Which kind of means I might still be quite inactive here (plus my computer issues still exist)? Sorry guys, I'll still try to post stuff sometimes! Thank you all for your support (:
So yeah. It's 2013 now! Regardless the past year was for everyone, here's hoping that everyone has a great year ahead!
